Allergies vs. Yeast: The Confusion

Most people dealing with this issue have been led to believe their pet has ALLERGIES. Veterinarian medical education rarely touches on the nutritional issues that affect the digestive tract; as a result, most Vets have little knowledge of Candida and how it contributes to a Systemic Yeast Infection or Leaky-Gut Condition. Medications and special foods for allergy treatment are suggested by your vet as the solution, but these often provide the perfect environment for the Candida yeast condition to actually expand and worsen.

Your Vet May Suggest Allergy Testing
Expensive allergy tests of a pet with this condition will often produce FALSE POSITIVE RESULTS, making it look like the pet has sensitivities to multiple sources when it really doesn't. This happens because the pet's immune system is severely compromised.

A Thyroid Condition May Be Involved
We always recommend a full thyroid panel for pet's exhibiting multiple symptoms from the yeast checklist. A large number of the yeast cases we work with also have a
low thyroid condition. Such pets require regular medication and it is important to note that the testing agency needs to know the types of medications used previously as these can corrupt the thyroid test result. We recommend having your pet's blood work done by Dr. Jean Dodds. She is the leading expert on Autoimmune Thyroiditis.

At NZYMES.COM our major focus is helping our customers achieve RESULTS! We suggest good nutrition programs along with accurate information. The goal is to use nutritional support in ways that will help the body repair and restore wellness naturally, and then continue that wellness with a minimum maintenance program.

Our Success with this Program is Undeniable
The high incidence of the Yeast Candida disorder is distressing and it keeps our NZYMES.COM staff very busy, adding hundreds of new cases every month! We believe our success rate of around 95% speaks volumes for the value of the program. The NZYMES® Yeast-Program has even appeared in articles in the Whole Dog Journal* and Pet Product News*. Much of the success comes from our dedication to assisting customers resolve these problems. We help them ‘hang in there’ through the tough months of cleansing. Last but not least, you have nothing to lose, as we offer a 120-Day Money-Back Guarantee!

The Answer has 4-Parts and 5-Rules to Follow!

The Yeast Candida issue is complex. The solution is not easy and can take considerable time. The NZYMES® Yeast-Kit Program is proven to provide the results. The requirements are simple, just follow the provided ‘What to Do Instructions’ that outline the entire program, AND to also allow the necessary time required for restoration.

The 4-Part Solution

  • Combat the Candida yeast
  • Cleanse the toxins from the body.
  • Reestablish the good bacteria of the GI tract .
  • Increase the nutrient absorption.

The 5-Rules you Must Follow

  1. Feed only approved foods everyday. Avoid foods that activate the yeast. (see pet foods tab)
  2. Use the NZYMES® Yeast-Kit products everyday as outlined in the What to Do Instructions.
  3. Use the 2% Ox-E-Drop Solution to spray or wipe all the problems topical areas 3-4 times daily.
    - - (i.e.; ears, feet, sores, etc.)
  4. Bathe the pet a minimum of 2 times per week with the recommeded medicated shampoo.
    - - Use a Final Baking Soda Rinse as instructed.
  5. VERY IMPORTANT: Don't allow pet to itch or chew! Get a soft Elizabethen collar.

How the Yeast-Kit Products Work!

The NZYMES® Yeast-Kits are designed to be a cost effective way to help strengthen your pets’ immune system while doing battle with the very tough problem of clearing the Candida overgrowth from the GI tract. This digestive imbalance must be reversed before your pet's symptoms will significantly subside.

NZYMES® ANTIOXIDANT TREATS or GRANULES
NZYMES Treats and GranulesThese products are the most important part of the Yeast Kit. Naturally anti-fungal, they fight the yeast and promote a stronger immune system. They help to detoxify and cleanse the body’s tissues and organs and help to reduce inflammation throughout the body.

Used during the Intro Week and then doubled until symptoms show significant improvement.

NZYMES® BACPAK PLUS
This combination of NZYMES BacPak Plusdigestive enzymes and probiotics helps to breakdown the heavier proteins and to maximize nutrition derived from the food; they also scour toxins from the bloodstream. The probiotics slowly begin to re-take control of the walls of the intestinal lining, as well as supporting existing bacterial colonies and provides the key in rebuilding the beneficial intestinal flora.

Wait until 4th week t begin. No used during intro-week. Use only the regular daily amounts shown on the bottle or in the daily What to Do Calendar..

NZYMES Ox-E-DropsNZYMES® OX-E-DROPS
This natural oxidizing substance and is the SECOND most important part of the Yeast Kit. It can act as a powerful bactericide, virucide and fungicide. It can be used INTERNALLY and TOPICALLY. Internally it attacks the fungus and helps to release precursors which assist the body in the removal of dangerous toxins. Topically, it helps attack the yeast, fight further infection and promotes restoration of the damaged and blackened skin.

THE CONCENTRATE IS NEVER USED UNDILUTED AND IS NEVER PUT DIRECTLY INTO THE EARS, EYES OR MOUTH!

Used during the Intro Week and mixed with water for topical 2% use.

NZYMES BlackLeafNZYMES® TINCTURE OF BLACK LEAF
Provides the extra boost needed to help with the yeast cleansing process. It generally shortens the time it takes to resolve the overall yeast problems and, like Ox-E-Drops, it provides natural anti-bacterial anti-fungal, anti-viral properties. Black-Leaf concentrate MAY BE APPLIED DIRECTLY to the more severe lesions of the skin; it can sting upon application.

DO NOT PUT DIRECTLY INTO EARS OR EYES!

NOT USED during the Intro Week and then doubled until symptoms show significant improvement.

The Timing

Vet Study

Please understand, this is a very tough problem to resolve!

With the NZYMES® Yeast-Kit and complete adherence to the Instructions provided, you should expect 3 to 7 months to advance most pets through the most difficult part of cleansing but, some pets may require additional time. By then most are at a level where external symptoms have mostly cleared. At this point, the pet is not yet completely well. Though greatly reduced, the internal yeast problem still exists and it may require another 6-12 months of use to significantly re-balance the GI tract.

With Yeast, you can never be sure when the job is finished, so don’t take any chances by stopping before the job is done; plan on these extra months to finish recovery. After allowing an extra 6-12 months without noticeable symptoms of any kind, it's still in your best interest to remain proactive.

The Cleansing
Along with the liver and kidneys, the skin has to be considered one of the body’s primary filters of toxins. In the case of dying yeast, the toxins tend work their way out to the surface of the skin at the extremities. These symptoms are first seen mostly at the feet, face, eyes, ears, anal glands, genitals and underbelly. The inflammation at these areas causes irritation and severe itching, resulting in chewing, licking , and scratching. Often there is a blackening of the skin where the dying yeast toxins exit and a distinct pungent yeasty odor to the body. During the first months of detoxification or cleansing process, there may be times when a pet’s symptoms may appear worse. This is NORMAL and is an expected result of the body clearing itself of the toxins.

NZYMES 3-Pak KitThe Maintenance
After full cleansing, we suggest regular daily maintenance with our 3 key NZYMES® products. First, use either the NZYMES® Treats or Granules to increase nutrient absorbtion and keep the immune system strong. Use the Ox-E-Drops twice daily internally to help maintain a proper pH in the GI tract, to help keep yeast overgrowth in check. Use the Ox-E topical 2% solution a minimum of 3-4 times daily on all inflammed, blackened or rashy areas. Use the minimum daily requirement of the BacPak Plus to support and maintain good bacterial flora and better digestion.

Slowed Recovery May Suggest a Low Thyroid Condition Could Be Involved
Slow recovery can indicate another problem with the immune system which may require medication to improve the thyroid.
A large number of the yeast cases we work with have a low thyroid condition. Such pets require regular medication and it is important to note that the testing agency needs to know the types of medications used previously as these can corrupt the thyroid test result. We recommend having your pet's blood work done by Dr. Jean Dodds. She is the leading expert on Autoimmune Thyroiditis.

Pet Foods

Pet Foods for Yeast Problems (To see a Complete List Click Here)

Pet foodsYou must feed the correct type of food to resolve this problem. We recommend Holistic Super Premium pet foods, not grocery store brand foods. Pet food should be made of human grade ingredients. The first ingredient must be specified as a “meat meal” like (chicken, fish, pork, duck, turkey, lamb etc). Super Premium foods contain only the best quality vitamins, minerals, micro-minerals, probiotics (yogurt-type bacteria) and digestive enzymes. Part of the yeast problem is caused by inferior diets. Starchy carbohydrate ingredients convert to sugar and play a major role in your pet’s yeast infection. So, read the ingredients on the bag and AVOID grains like wheat, flours, corn, white rice (*White rice is ok when balanced with brown rice or rice bran) potatoes or meat byproducts when listed as the first 5 or 6 primary ingredients.

AVOID THESE TREATS: Milk Bones, Bonz, Beggin Strips, Snausages, Jerky Treats, Greenies, rawhides, pig ears and others. Look closely at ingredients.
AVOID THESE GRAINS; Enriched flour, wheat, wheat gluten, white rice*, rice flour*, corn meal, corn gluten, millet, prepackaged breads, cereals, cookies, crackers, pretzels and pasta. (*White rice is ok when balanced in a quality food with brown rice or rice bran) AVOID THESE WHOLE VEGETABLES: Corn, peas, carrots, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, yams, etc. (amounts of these vegetables used in holistic pet foods are very small and will not be harmful).
AVOID DAIRY PRODUCTS LIKE: Buttermilk, cheeses and Cottage cheese. AVOID ANYTHING SWEET: Sugar, sorbitol, caramel coloring, honey, molasses, maple syrup, corn syrup or Dextrose.
AVOID PRODUCTS LIKE: Peanuts, and Vitamin or Mineral supplements made from yeast sources.
OTHER DIET RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTIFY EVERYONE THAT YOU PET IS ON A RESTRICTED DIET
Make sure that ALL family members, neighbors, utility company employees and Postal workers are aware that your pet is on a RESTRICTED DIET and that it is NOT OK to give treats or any of the problem foods.
USE FILTERED WATER
If possible use filtered water for your pet. Chlorine used in city water does contribute to the breakdown of the GI tract’s natural flora making it more difficult to resolve yeast issues. Therefore we suggest purchasing a system for you tap that filters chlorine and other harmful agents out of the pet’s water.

BLIZZARD - 3 Months to Success
BlizzardBlizzard endured four and one-half years of typical medical treatments for allergies and suffered with dozens of horrible symptoms. At the point that his owners came to us, the doctors had already suggested it would be best to put Blizzard down to ease the suffering. However, Blizzard came through his problems with yeast in 3 months and is still with us years later. He is totally clear of his previous conditions. This is a classic case of how a Systemic Yeast Infection or Leaky-Gut Syndrome is commonly misdiagnosed as allergiesand treated in an incorrect manner.

ALF - 6 Months to Success - Severe Ongoing Case

Great Pyranees with yeast problemAlf Ralph was another case with severe pre-conditions and took months to resolve. After treatment and a conversation with out vet I wasn't left feeling confident that he was being diagnosed properly and wasn't sure what to do. Within 3 weeks Alf had pulled most of his hair out and had been biting at his feet to the point they were raw and bleeding in some spots. Alf's health had seriously deteriorated; he had lost 25-30 pounds and looked like a bus had run over him. He had pulled out most of his hair that he could reach, he had large fungus looking clumps on his feet that were so sore you couldn't touch them and he had started staying in his dog house most of the time. During this period I went out and also found another vet to get second opinion of what could be wrong with Alf and what all could be done to try and help him. It was then it was suggested for us to consider using NZYMES.

MAXIMILLIAN - 4 Months to Success - Deceased
Labrador Retriever with yeast problemMax was another case that has some severe pre-conditions and took months to resolve. He had been diagnosed with allergies, Low Thyroid, liver problems from Hepatitis C, and more. He had many of the yeast symptoms from the checklist. They wrote, " After his yeast infection was cured, and he grew a new coat, I took him to the vet for a blood test on his liver enzymes. The vet was actually shocked and amazed at how healthy Max looked. His liver enzymes blood test came back with very good news. His bad liver enzyme count had dropped from 1200+ to 150. The vet said what ever you are doing keep doing it".

CASSI - 2 Months to Success - Ongoing case
Dachshund with Yeast ProblemInitially Cassi, minature Dachshund, lost some fur on her legs, and her ears became infected. They began to look purplish red in color, and they were so tender that Cassi would cry-out when you touched them. When I took her to the vet, I was told she had a infection in her ears and on her legs. I was prescribed some eardrops; Malaseb wipes; oral medication; and medicated shampoo. None of these things worked much for her. As time progressed, the problem became much worse. Her skin started to look like elephant skin, her fur was oily and had a really bad smell, and she began to get blackened skin on her stomach, in her armpits, and even on her cheeks. Her feet became swollen and she started to get sores. At this point I had tried so many things to help her, and nothing could make her feel better or make the problem clear up. I had spent a lot of money on medications and shampoos, and felt like I was wasting my money. That's when we found NZYMES.

NANI - 2 Months to Success - Ongoing case
Dachshund with Yeast ProblemTwo years ago I began to notice hot spots developing on Nani's skin and she was constantly chewing herself until she would make herself bleed. I would have her cleared up but then another outbreak would occur. Each time was worse than the last until 6 months ago when I felt it was out of control. She became lethargic, losing a great deal of weight and hair. Her joints were so sore that all she did was stand. She would sleep standing up and her constant chewing of herself was making the situation worse. She was literally eating herself alive. She had big open sores and a smelly oozing was coming from her sores all over her. The ooze would solidify and turn black and she was miserable. Plus, almost all her hair fell out. I took her to the vet and was told it was a flea allergy. She had been on Sentinel Flea prep, so I did not agree with the flea allergy diagnosis. At that time they gave her cortisone injections but it did not help. The vet gave up and said I should put her down. I did not want to put her down and starting looking online. I found your site and ordered the NZYMES® Large Yeast-kit and on March 31, 2008. She is now happy, healthier, has put her weight back on and back to chasing the cats.

JAKE - 2 Months to Success
JakeJake's early life in a puppy-mill left him with severe intestinal damage from Coccidia and worm problems. This early breakdown of the GI tract flora made for the perfect environment for candida yeast infection to flourish into a long list of symptoms. His owner wrote after 60 days on the NZYMES® Yeast program, " Overall my dog has become a bouncing, feisty, playful, love bug of a dog. The yeast kit program has made a huge and noticeable difference. And, all the symptoms are gone including the the blackened skin. I highly recommend each product individually or in combination with each other.
